What makes AACo extraordinary?
At Attuned Talent, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with AACo through many phases of their growth - and continue to be inspired by their commitment to purpose, people, and performance.

As Australia’s largest integrated cattle and beef producer, AACo operates across more than 6.4 million hectares of pastoral land, with over 500 employees working across stations, feedlots, processing, logistics and corporate operations. Guided by the values Be Curious, Be Generous, and Own Your Impact , AACo is building a sustainable and innovative future for Australia’s beef industry - one where care for people, animals and land sits at the heart of everything they do.

This is an organisation grounded in authenticity, optimism and progress - and one that offers a truly unique career experience.

Make an Impact
Reporting to the Head of Wellbeing, Health and Safety , this newly defined role will support the operational delivery and uplift of AACo’s WHS strategy across its diverse operations. Working closely with site and regional leaders, you’ll partner with teams to embed consistent safety standards, strengthen leadership capability, and drive proactive engagement in both physical and psychological safety.

You’ll play a visible, trusted role - coaching, influencing and enabling leaders to “own” safety in their daily decision-making, while simplifying systems and fostering open communication across the network.

With the function in a critical phase of reset and rebuild, this is a hands-on role that will evolve quickly - balancing practical support with the opportunity to help shape the frameworks, training and tools that will define AACo’s future approach to wellbeing, health and safety.

Acres of Opportunity for You and Your Career
This role will suit a capable and pragmatic WHS professional ready to take the next step in their career - someone who thrives in dynamic, operational environments and who finds purpose in building trust and capability on the ground.

You’ll bring:
  • Broad experience in workplace health and safety within agriculture, resources, manufacturing or other high-risk industries.
  • The confidence and communication skills to engage leaders and frontline teams across remote and regional settings.
  • Strength in risk assessment, systems improvement, and incident investigation.
  • A collaborative, down-to-earth approach - curious, adaptable, and ready to get out in the field.
  • The ability to travel to operational sites on a regular basis.
  • A deep alignment with AACo’s values of curiosity, generosity and accountability.
Whether based in Brisbane or Mt Isa, this is a rare opportunity to work across one of Australia’s most diverse operational footprints - helping to shape a culture of care, connection and performance that will leave a lasting impact.
