An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded organisation operating in a large-scale operational and production environment. In this newly created role, you will play a critical part in developing and driving procurement strategy, supplier performance, and cost optimisation across the business.

Working closely with senior leadership, operations, and supply chain teams, the Procurement Manager will lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier partnerships, and implement procurement best practice to ensure the reliable and cost-effective supply of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and supplier strategies that deliver strong commercial outcomes for the business.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure value, quality and reliability of supply.
  • Partner with operations, logistics and finance teams to align purchasing with production and business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, reporting and overall efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation.
  • Analyse purchasing data and market trends to inform sourcing decisions and support strategic procurement initiatives.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality and risk.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract management and strategic sourcing.
  • Experience managing domestic and international suppliers and sourcing strategies.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability with the ability to identify value opportunities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence across a complex organisation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
