Be part of something bigger than a project.
Some opportunities allow you to support change. Others allow you to become part of the team making it happen.
This is one of those opportunities.
Gladstone Ports Corporation is investing in the future of its people through Strategy 2030, creating a dedicated Organisational Development Projects team to deliver enterprise-wide initiatives across organisational capability, culture, leadership and performance.
If you're highly organised, enjoy bringing structure to complexity and thrive in environments where no two days are the same, this role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced organisational development professionals while contributing to projects that will shape the future of one of Queensland's leading Government Owned Corporations.
About Gladstone Ports Corporation
Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is one of Queensland's most significant infrastructure organisations, operating and developing four strategic ports that contribute to the prosperity of Queensland communities, industries and regional economies.
With more than 750 employees across operational and corporate environments, GPC is recognised for its commitment to safety, integrity, accountability, customer focus, humility and passion. These values underpin the way GPC works together, supports its people and delivers outstanding outcomes for customers and communities.
As GPC continues delivering its Strategy 2030 agenda, the organisation is investing in new ways of working, leadership capability and organisational effectiveness. To support this work, a dedicated Organisational Development Projects team has been established to deliver a range of strategic enterprise-wide initiatives that will leave a lasting impact on the organisation.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Organisational Development Projects Manager, you'll become an integral member of a newly established project team responsible for coordinating the delivery of strategic organisational development initiatives across GPC.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to moving parts, creating structure, maintaining momentum and ensuring projects are delivered effectively. You'll work closely with the Organisational Development Projects Manager and Change and Engagement Specialist, coordinating project activity while building relationships across the broader People team and business.
This is far more than project administration. You'll become involved in enterprise-wide initiatives spanning organisational development, leadership capability, organisational design, change, culture and employee engagement, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience while contributing to meaningful organisational outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
-
Coordinating enterprise-wide organisational development projects aligned to Strategy 2030.
-
Supporting project planning, governance and reporting across multiple initiatives.
-
Developing and maintaining project documentation, plans, briefing papers and communication materials.
-
Tracking project milestones, deliverables and reporting requirements.
-
Coordinating meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
-
Supporting organisational design, capability, culture and change initiatives.
-
Liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners to support successful project delivery.
-
Working closely with the broader People team to ensure projects are implemented effectively and on schedule.
About You
You're someone who enjoys bringing clarity, structure and organisation to complex projects. You naturally think ahead, anticipate what's needed and enjoy keeping multiple priorities moving while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Experience supporting organisational development, HR or transformation projects will be highly regarded.
Why this opportunity?
You'll join a newly established project team at the beginning of an exciting transformation journey, working alongside experienced organisational development professionals while building your own capability across enterprise-wide people initiatives.
-
Strategic project opportunity through to December 2027.
-
Brisbane or Gladstone location.
-
Hybrid working arrangements with travel to Gladstone as required.
-
Exposure to enterprise-wide organisational development and transformation projects.
-
Collaborative, values-led environment.
