Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) plays a vital role in Australia’s clean energy transition, ensuring solar systems are designed and installed safely, professionally, and to the highest standards. Behind that trust is a secure, reliable, and connected technology environment, one that enables remote operations, empowers users, and protects the integrity of the national accreditation scheme.
SAA is seeking an experienced ICT Lead – Architecture, Security and Operations to oversee the systems, infrastructure, and governance that keep the organisation operating seamlessly and securely.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Scheme Operations, this role provides both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership across all ICT functions. You will design and maintain a scalable architecture that supports cloud-based platforms, SaaS applications, and a remote-first workforce. With a strong focus on cybersecurity and operational resilience, you will ensure SAA’s technology environment meets the highest standards of performance, compliance, and reliability.
You’ll oversee vendor partnerships and service providers, manage licensing and continuity plans, and implement robust governance frameworks that ensure audit readiness and accountability. You will lead the application of the Essential Eight, conduct regular vulnerability testing, and drive ongoing improvements to system security and incident response.
This role also plays a key part in SAA’s digital evolution, partnering with UX, data, and operational teams to enhance integration, improve efficiency, and enable secure data sharing across platforms such as HubSpot and LearnUpon.
To succeed, you’ll bring a strong background in ICT leadership, architecture, and cybersecurity, with at least five years of experience managing complex, multi-platform environments. You will combine technical expertise with strategic judgment, strong stakeholder skills, and the ability to deliver dependable, future-ready systems in a remote-first setting.
