Executive Leadership with Purpose
Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the Executive (Director) Team, this is a true executive leadership role, working in partnership with senior leaders to govern the organisation, drive a highly engaged, high-performing and inclusive workforce, and deliver sustained financial success.
You will lead a well-established and highly capable People & Culture function spanning employee and industrial relations, payroll, training and development, HR operations, wellbeing and safety. With strong foundations already in place, the focus of this role is to lead, elevate and enable - aligning people strategy to the organisation’s mission, values and commercial priorities.
Importantly, this role extends beyond functional leadership. As a member of the Director team, you will contribute to broader business governance, including areas such as risk, policy, operations, strategy, budgeting and organisational capability.

  • Organisational capability: Building leadership, capability and development pathways that support a high-performing workforce
  • Employee & industrial relations: Leading compliant, pragmatic and effective ER/IR practices while coaching leaders through complexity
  • Culture, engagement & wellbeing: Fostering an inclusive, safe and rewarding environment across diverse workforce groups
  • Governance & risk: Contributing to broader organisational governance including policy, compliance, risk and operational effectiveness
  • Transformation & change: Driving initiatives that support growth, evolution and ongoing business improvement

This opportunity will suit a senior HR leader who brings deep expertise across ER/IR, payroll and safety, alongside demonstrated experience leading People & Culture functions within large, multi-site organisations. You will be a decisive and values-led leader, comfortable operating at executive level, with the ability to influence, challenge and inspire.
