The opportunity
Reporting to the Executive Director, People & Culture, the General Manager - People Experience will lead a broad national portfolio spanning
business partnering
, people advisory, policy, remuneration and benefits,
employee value proposition
and
core
People processes.
The role will bring these areas together to deliver consistent, practical and contemporary support for leaders and employees.
This role
has the
scope to
shape
the People Experience function
by strengthening
its structure, capability, processes and ways of working
. The focus is practical: enabling so leaders and employees to perform at their best and supported to deliver Dementia Australia’s purpose the organisation’s purpose
.
You will:
- Lead and develop a geographically dispersed People Experience team
- Strengthen the HR Business Partnering model and elevate the function for greater impact
- Lead the continued evolution of the employee experience and EVP
- Oversee and drive effective People processes, policies and practices
- Provide leadership across remuneration, benefits and contemporary People initiatives
- Support organisational change, workforce transformation and capability uplift
- Create greater consistency and connection across a national workforce
- Partner with senior leaders to translate organisational priorities into practical People outcomes
- Identify opportunities to simplify, innovate and improve the way People services are delivered
We are looking for a commercial and contemporary People leader who combines curiosity and energy with the judgement and discipline to turn ideas into practical outcomes .
Your experience may come from a commercial, corporate, service-based or similarly complex environment. Sector experience is less important than your ability to lead a high-performing People function, bring fresh thinking and translate contemporary practice into outcomes that work in Dementia Australia’s context .
You will bring broad People leadership experience, strong business partnering capability and a track record of leading geographically dispersed teams through change and improvement. You will be confident addressing capability and performance, constructively challenging established ways of working, and translating strategic priorities into pragmatic delivery.
Importantly, you will be someone who can imagine what could be next - a leader who sees opportunities, creates solutions and brings people with them.
