At the heart of that transformation is Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA), a national organisation dedicated to ensuring solar systems are designed and installed safely, professionally, and to the highest standards. Through its accreditation program, SAA builds confidence in the industry and trust among consumers, helping shape a cleaner, more sustainable future.
To strengthen how the organisation communicates this purpose, SAA is seeking an accomplished leader to join as Executive Manager, Scheme Communications.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the development of an organisation-wide communications strategy that brings clarity, consistency, and creativity to everything SAA shares with its stakeholders. You will design campaigns that build awareness of accreditation, increase understanding of compliance requirements, and foster a strong sense of connection among accredited professionals.
This is a role for a communications leader who understands influence, how to distil complex information into messages that engage and inspire. You will oversee SAA’s digital presence across web, social media, newsletters, and webinars, ensuring that every interaction reflects professionalism, warmth, and integrity. Collaborating across internal teams and with regulators, government agencies, and industry partners, you will ensure that SAA’s voice is unified, trusted, and aligned with its mission.
You will bring at least ten years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, or public relations, ideally gained in a regulated, technical, or government-linked environment. You’ll demonstrate strong digital capability, exceptional writing and presentation skills, and the confidence to engage with senior executives and external stakeholders. It is expected you will be self-motivated, proactive, and adept at balancing strategy with hands-on delivery in a remote-first setting.
