Executive Director – Digital, Insights and Assurance

This is an exceptional opportunity to join QLeave at a pivotal time in its evolution. Reporting directly to the General Manager and as a member of the Senior Executive Leadership Team, you will shape the future of digital, data, enterprise risk and assurance across a highly respected statutory authority responsible for administering Queensland's portable long service leave schemes and overseeing more than $2 billion in funds under management.

This is far more than a traditional technology or risk leadership role. You will lead an integrated portfolio spanning ICT, data and insights, enterprise risk, assurance and organisational improvement, ensuring these functions work together to enable better decisions, stronger governance and improved outcomes for Queensland workers. You will champion a business partnering approach, embedding digital capability, strengthening organisational resilience and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

Working closely with the General Manager, Executive Leadership Team and QLeave Boards, you will influence enterprise-wide strategy, guide major transformation initiatives, oversee information security and risk frameworks, grow the organisation's data and insights capability and ensure governance practices continue to mature in line with best practice. You will also play a key role in shaping strategic planning and supporting future organisational change, including accommodation and workplace initiatives.

Success in this role will require an accomplished executive who combines strategic thinking with strong stakeholder engagement. You are a collaborative and influential leader who has successfully led enterprise-wide corporate functions spanning digital transformation, data and insights, enterprise risk, assurance and organisational improvement within a complex or highly regulated environment. You bring a proven ability to build high-performing business partnering models, influence executive decision-making, lead organisational transformation and engage confidently with Boards and senior stakeholders. Most importantly, you are an authentic leader who builds trust, develops capability and thrives in an organisation driven by purpose, integrity and service.
