Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) is helping shape the future of clean energy ensuring that solar systems across the country are designed and installed safely, professionally, and to the highest standards. As the national authority for solar accreditation, SAA is committed to building trust, enabling self-service, and creating digital experiences that make compliance and accreditation seamless.
To help bring that vision to life, SAA is seeking a Digital User Experience Lead a hands-on professional who can turn complex systems into simple, intuitive, and engaging digital experiences.
Working within the Communications and Engagement team, you will lead the design and optimisation of digital platforms that make it easier for installers and accredited professionals to interact with SAA. From the website and Installer Portal to mobile applications and AI-enabled chat services, you will ensure every digital touchpoint is clear, responsive, and effortless to use.
You will collaborate closely with ICT, customer service, and compliance teams to improve workflows, streamline processes, and reduce friction across the user journey. You’ll apply human-centred design principles to make accreditation, CPD, and compliance simpler and more accessible, while ensuring digital content and interfaces meet high standards of inclusivity and accessibility.
This role also leads SAA’s innovation agenda, guiding the design and delivery of mobile-first solutions and AI-powered services that transform how users engage with the organisation. Your ability to blend design thinking with data, user insights, and technical collaboration will be key to improving both customer experience and organisational efficiency.
You will bring proven experience in UX design, service optimisation, or product design across web and mobile platforms. Skilled in research, prototyping, testing, and implementation, you will be comfortable working across multiple systems from HubSpot to LearnUpon and have an eye for how digital design can enhance engagement, reduce complexity, and empower users.
