This is a rare opportunity to lead one of Queensland’s most influential regional organisations and play a central role in shaping the future of the Darling Downs and Surat Basin.
Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) are a respected, member-led organisation that sits at the intersection of business, government and community. Through advocacy, collaboration and strategic leadership, TSBE champions economic growth, investment and opportunity across one of Australia’s most dynamic regional economies.
At a defining moment in the evolution of TSBE, this an opportunity for a new Chief Executive Officer to guide the organisation through its next phase of maturity, influence and impact.
Reporting to the Chair and Board, the CEO will provide strategic leadership across the organisation while serving as its principal advocate and public voice. The role brings together strategy, advocacy and commercial stewardship, ensuring TSBE remains financially sustainable, highly relevant to its members, and an influential voice in regional economic development.
The CEO will build trusted relationships with industry leaders, government stakeholders and regional partners while representing TSBE in critical conversations shaping the region’s future. You will lead organisational performance, strengthen membership and sponsorship engagement, and position TSBE as Australia’s leading regional development organisation.
We are seeking an engaging and outward-facing leader who brings credibility, influence and strong commercial judgement. You will be comfortable operating in complex stakeholder environments and confident advocating for regional priorities with senior decision-makers across government and industry.
This role will suit an experienced executive who is motivated by impact and the opportunity to shape the long-term prosperity of regional Queensland.
